Craig
Noel now Accel’s Senior Vice-President, approached entrepreneur,
Thomas Huval with a business concept tailored toward providing
commercial clients with a full-service security source which could be a
single point of contact for all of that client’s security needs. Mr.
Huval was interested in the concept; as he had previously acquired the
Security Guard Division of Argus Security, LLC in 2002 (a corporation
founded by Noel in 1995).

March of 2003
- With a full-service concept in mind, Mr.
Huval further expanded his operations by acquiring the Commercial
Division of Argus. This division itself had been built
on an accumulation of numerous security and life-safety companies dating
back for more than 20 years.

November
2003 – Acquisition of All Points Security, LLC, a well-established
commercial-based alarm company.

October
2004 - All companies were then rolled under a single brand identified
today as Accel Protection and Technologies.

November
2004 – Accel obtained IQ Certification, distancing itself from other
competitors in the life-safety and security industry by honoring a
commitment to excellence through quality control.

January
2005 - Accel expanded its service offerings by creating a Financial
Services Division geared toward servicing the banking industry with
custom-designed security services for cash transfers.

August
2005 – Accel activated Elite Team to protect critical infrastructure
throughout Gulf Coast in response to security needs resulting from
Hurricane Katrina’s devastation of New Orleans, La.

September
2005 – Accel deployed over 300 security officers in reaction to
security needs within temporary housing communities in South Louisiana.

April
2006 – Accel was awarded the contract to secure the Road Home Program,
the single largest housing recovery effort in U.S. history. Accel
provided vulnerability assessments, electronic security solutions and
protective force officers throughout the Gulf Coast for this program.

January
2007 – Accel enters into partnership agreement with NetTalon and is
authorized to provide Virtual Command Technology to the commercial,
industrial and educational communities.

February
2007 – Accel acquires Colette Electrical, LLC and immediately forms
the Emergency Power Generation Division of Accel further expanding
Accel’s service offerings to clients with critical infrastructure
needs.

2007 – Accel is awarded the contract to provide Virtual Command
Technology to a New Orleans campus; making that application the first
on-line Virtual Command protected campus in the world.
